  I’ve been taking my vehicles to Mr. Tire in Mount Airy for close to 20 years, since my old shop closed. While their customer service has been hit or miss, and my experience lined up with other poor reviews, they normally provided good service at a reasonable price and provided flexibility to schedule service so I was willing to let it slide. On my last visit two weeks ago, I requested an estimate for work I needed done for new tires and pressure sensors. I told them at the time, I might get the tires myself, and the work was quoted. When I returned today with the tires the price increased by 50% over the quoted estimate; what’s the use of an estimate if they don’t honor it? They didn’t even try to get closer to what they quoted, a coupon, a discount, nothing. Pair that with the poor customer service I’ve accepted for years, and I came to the conclusion I should take my business elsewhere. I guess they don’t need my business enough to even try or care. If you’ve been here before you can probably guess who I was dealing with. I should have turned around and left when I walked in and saw he was the only option at the counter.

  Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. The explained things in simple terms. Especially the manager Kevin. They repaired only the things that needed repair. Great experience.

  A very nice gentleman at the front desk, Kevin was his name, he got all my information correct and he was very nice! I am taking my vehicle back to get my brakes done. The mechanics did a fantastic job on my tires! I'll refer all my family and friends! Thanks again, Mt. Airy Mr. Tire!
