- PKPaul KJan 3, 20261.0I brought in a flat to be repaired. The tire and OEM wheel only had 6k miles and the wheel was in new condition with no scratches. I asked if they could do the tire repair without scratching the wheel and they said they could. When I got the wheel back it had black marks around the outer edge from the rubber mat. When I cleaned them off there were scratches underneath and damage to one of the spokes. They tried to claim that it was there before.

They received the new tires and did the total service with 4 new tires and 4 wheel alignment on the same day. I am very pleased with the service and the results of my purchase from Mr. Tire in Mount Airy MD. I would recommend the shop for your tire needs and front end service.

If you call the corporate office they say each store sets their own price for parts. They also charge $39 for shop supply fee. The cost of gloves and rags must of really went up. The service was on 12/5 and it was to replace a wheel sensor. The wheel sensor part number is SU15416. At Advanced Auto Parts, which is next door, the cost is $40.99 for the part (without tax). AutoZone sells it for $39.99, again without tax. The price on the invoice for the part was $173.31 for the part. That is either 4.288 or 4.33 times the price I would pay at the parts store. I’m sure you as someone who buys more parts than an individual gets a better price than me. I called your customer service on 12/5. A customer service supervisor was supposed to call me back and I am still waiting on that.
- DWDevin WardDec 3, 20251.0Please for the love of god never ever bring your vehicle here. These people are nothing but liars. I brought my vehicle here simply to get 4 new tires with an alignment. Simple enough at a tire shop you think ? Absolutely not. After waiting for 3 hours for my vehicle to finally be done I began to drive home in which I made it barely to the stop light and heard a god awful noise which definitely wasn’t there when I took the vehicle there. I returned to Mr. Tire and told them about the noise and they claimed I had broken axel and that’s what the noise was, which is weird because I had both of my axels replaced in June. They proceeded to say the auto shop I used put the wrong part on gave me the run around. I left my vehicle there and returned the next day because it was not drivable. Once again the next they gave me the run around saying they didn’t brake it and blah blah blah a bunch of BS. Eventually after being not so polite they fixed THEIR mess up but continued to act like they were doing me a favor. It seems to me they’ll let any ole Joe off the street get a job there with no training. Avoid this place at ALL COST. Listen to the other 1 star reviews, they definitely aren’t lying.
