Something went wrong in my car yesterday (Sunday) so I went straight to Mr. Tire since I was under the impression it would be open, per their listed hours. It was not. My car died while I was on the main road and began smoking. I was able to keep it rolling into the parking lot of Mr. Tire and parked in front of the garage, then immediately turned it off, got out, and stepped away. Then I realized the shop was not open, but I had no other way to move my car away from their garages. I got there 20 minutes before they opened this morning to explain why my car was there and ask for help, but they had already towed it by the time I showed up. When I tried to communicate with the two males inside, they showed absolutely no empathy, respect, or professionalism when explaining that they towed me. They were condescending, trying to say that I should’ve parked in a parking spot. When I explained my situation and that I thought my car was going to blow up since it was smoking and my priority was to get away from the vehicle, one of the guys laughed at me. The attitude I received from the employees of Mr. Tire this morning was unacceptable. I thought they would be able to help me, instead they made my situation worse than it already was.
