I recently purchased a 2026 Sportage hybrid from this dealership. Earl did an excellent job as a salesperson. I called ahead to inquire about the vehicle beforehand, and Earl called me back promptly to let me know that the vehicle was still available. Earl was very professional, answered all the questions that we had, and did not pressure us to buy services or add-ons that we did not need. Earl also provided additional customer service to show me how to use the technology features in the vehicle. Lastly, there was a brief issue with one of the FOBs for the vehicle, but it was fixed quickly and conveniently. I recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a car, especially a Kia.

I had an amazing experience! Ear and Joe were absolutely the best—they made everything so easy and stress-free. They really took the time to help me get into a new car and made sure I understood every step of the process. The whole experience was quick, smooth, and efficient. I truly appreciate their professionalism and great customer service. Highly recommend working with them if you’re looking for a fast and easy car-buying experience!
I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership on January 13, 2026, and this has been one of the most frustrating post-sale experiences I’ve had or even heard of.
Within two weeks, my check engine light came on. When I brought it in for service, I asked whether the vehicle had received a tune-up either before the dealership acquired it or while it was on their lot. No one could give me a clear answer. Instead of repairing anything, the existing ignition coils were simply moved around as a diagnostic step, and I was sent on my way with no real resolution.
At the time of purchase, I also spoke with the General Manager, Sean, about a missing interior button. I was told the part would be ordered and that I would be contacted. I never received any follow-up.
I paid for my registration and permanent tags at the time of sale, but weeks went by with no updates. I had to repeatedly reach out myself just to get basic information. My salesman, Keyvon, and manager, Johnny, were aware of the situation, but communication remained reactive instead of proactive.
I later found out February 19th that the delay was due to a lien through Ally and a title transfer from Virginia. I understand that process can take time, but this was never explained upfront — I had to track that information down myself after weeks of follow-up.
Because of the delays, I ended up dealing with an insurance flag that had to be cleared through the MVA. I had to go to the MVA and coordinate with my insurance to resolve it.
When I spoke with Stephanie about the issue on 03/26/26, the interaction was unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of helping, I was told that if things were not handled by the following week, I would simply be given the title without tags — after already waiting months.
I also attempted to contact Sean directly after seeing him respond to reviews encouraging customers to reach out. I left a voicemail and never received a return call, and I still never received any follow-up regarding the missing interior moon roof button either.
At every stage of this process, I had to follow up and chase answers myself. What should have been routine post-sale service felt completely disorganized and unnecessarily difficult as a whole.
Update: Permanent tags received on April 3, 2026. Total time from purchase (January 13, 2026) to receiving tags: almost 12 weeks.
I recently did a trade in for a new car with this dealership (second deal I have done with King Kia of Laurel). I found a deal that I liked online and called in the next day. Thank goodness Blair (sales consultant) was the one who answered the phone. He was accommodating, professional, knowledgable. I was in a rush that day and he took care of everything super quickly without leaving me feeling rushed or forced to do something I was not comfortable with. He molded his approach to my pace which I appreciate greatly.
Larry (finance manager) worked numbers with me on the close-out, and he was a pleasure to work with as well. Coolest finance dude you will find.
I urge -anyone- that is going to purchase a car from King Kia of Laurel to ask for Blair. You certainly will not regret it!
I had a really great experience at King Kia thanks to the sales rep Maddie. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right car. From the start, she took the time to understand what I was looking for and never made me feel rushed or pressured. she answered all my queries clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with every step of the process.
I really appreciate all her help and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to buy a car. She made the whole experience smooth and actually enjoyable.
