I video call my husband so he can help me. I pick out what I needed and go to checkout. No one is around. I’m paying cash, so self checkout is useless to me. You can hear my heels on the floor, someone knew I was there. I see a guy looking at something in an isle behind the counter and I say “Sir, I’m paying cash can you help me?” No answer, no acknowledgment that I’m there. I wait a few seconds and nothing. I put the oil down and walk out. One of the absolute worst things you can do in a business is not acknowledge a customer.

He didn’t have to help me replace my battery, but it took him a good bit of time on it, considering how corroded it was. I appreciate that immensely. Definitely exceeded customer service expectation!!!

- JSJason StewardJun 24, 20251.0I used to like this store, as there have been many great people who worked there. But I believe AutoZone is a company that doesn't treat their employees very well. All of my favorite people there have moved on to better jobs. I quit coming here because it seemed like every time I came in, which was pretty frequently, there were all new people working behind the counter. Also, when they became a hub store, service went DOWN instead of up. And please, don't hire people that have no intentions of being helpful. Way too many times that I was in there (before I gave up on them), there would be some young fella behind the counter that acted much more interested in scrolling through his phone rather than helping me look up the parts I need. If that's the way you do business with your Rewards Members, that's fine, but I buy parts through Napa now.
