  Precision Auto really feels like the definition of an old-school, family-owned business. You can tell they take that seriously - their customer service is always friendly, welcoming, and consistent, and they genuinely seem to value both their customers and their employees. They may not always be the cheapest option, but I trust that they’re honest, fair, and stand behind their work. To me, that’s worth it. The added perks like their free shuttle service (with super friendly drivers) and loaner cars just reinforce that they’re focused on taking care of people, not just getting through transactions. I also recently had a small issue and reached out, and they handled it thoughtfully and professionally. That kind of responsiveness says a lot. This is the kind of place you go when you want to feel taken care of and not just like another customer.

  WOW is the one word description for Precision Auto. I was new to the area and needed a service center for my BMW. And wow is the word you will use when you come to Precision for car service. First thing you notice is how clean (I mean operating room clean) this place is. Right away you get a good feeling about your choice. Second are the staff you meet when you drop off the car. Everyone and I mean everyone is so kind and customer friendly. You are not dealing with someone who has grease all over their hands wanting to get you in and out without talking to you. These people are like an Indy pit-crew - in uniform and ready to get your car serviced and you on your way as quickly as possible. Lastly, your car will be returned to you 1000 times better than when you took it in. Your car will thank you and so will your wallet. Their prices are competitive and often lower than I had paid elsewhere, from dealership service centers to independent service outfits. Their shuttle service is icing on the cake. Precision Auto takes car service to the next level!

  I’ve been having service on my vehicles for over 25 + years at Precision Auto. They are the BEST automobile mechanics is area. I highly recommend them for all services!!

  Service and good and staff is friendly. Pricing is not friendly. $150 for a full synthetic oil change for a 4 cylinder vehicle. Prices increased 50% in a year. Cho's is 15 min away and will do it for less than half that amount and is just as reliable. IDK maybe I'm missing something here but this pricing is straight up predatory.

  Was out of town for an extended period of time and returned to find that, yes, my Honda would start, but ran rough when I put it in reverse. The Honda has 285k miles on it... so I needed to make a decision to repair it or replace the whole vehicle. I have lived in Gtown for 20 years and have always avoided Precision Auto as they have an "on the street" reputation for upselling repairs and price gouging labor and parts. But hey people and places change over time so I thought I would give them a chance. So I called Precision Auto Friday morning, spoke with a person who said it would be $199 to diagnose the problem/s and that they would have the diagnosis done by Monday close of business (I have to leave town again Monday night). I had the car towed over to their shop. Once the car arrived I recieved a phone call from thier desk person that the tow company had dropped the car off and that it would cost $299 to have it diagnosed and that it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. I repeated what I had been originally told and was told they would "do their best to try" to get the diagnosis done by Monday and that its $299 because it has a check engine light on. (Hooking the car up to the OBD port is typically part of the "diagnosing" process in most shops). I told the desk person that I'm not going to pay for any repairs unless the work can be done by Monday. *I was hung up on* OK. So I made a few phone calls, then drove my other car over to Precision Auto and explained to the desk person that I was calling a new tow truck to have my car towed from thier lot to a different mechanic. I retrieved my car key with no problems, towed the vehicle to a different shop and by 3pm on Friday knew that all my Honda needed was new spark plugs and a coil. SHAME. SHAME! on Precision Auto. Thier bays look neat and clean... everyone is dressed in the "uniform of the day"... but they will upsell repairs and price gouge you every chance they get. I guess some companies never change. I don't reccomend this company.
