  I've been taking my three vehicles to Bay Area Point S in Laytonsville for about 3 years. They provide prompt, competent service at a reasonable (lower than dealer) price, and I recommend them without reservation.

  Very good service, the price is reasonable. It only took 45 min to fix my flat tire. The front desk is nice and professional. Highly recommended.

  I would give more stars if I could! I took my wife's car in for service today (scheduled), and there was a glitch with their new computer software, but Rick and Adam took it all in stride and got me checked in with no issues and had a great attitude about the glitch. I have gone to different repair shops throughout my life and largely have had horrible experiences. Not at Bay Area Point S in Gaithersburg. They quickly checked everything out, listened to me (my concerns with my wife's car and why we needed the service) and even let me know that some of what we wanted repaired was not necessary to renew the tags! Not only do they not try and up-sell you, they will honestly tell you what you need to do now and what can wait. They provide a free trip back home while they work on the car and a free trip back once they are done. Their prices are very reasonable...we needed our tire pressure gauges replaced on all four wheels and their prices were far below what found on the internet. Most importantly, everyone who works there seemed professional and very friendly. I initially thought about waiting for the service to be completed (but then took them up on the offer to head home until they were done), and while I was waiting, many return customers came in. Rick and Adam remembered all of their names and they treated their customers like close friends. The entire experience was A+++++. I have a new mechanic for as long as we live in this area! Even if they might be a bit of a hike for you, you should consider taking your car to Bay Area Point S in Gaithersburg. You will be happy that you did! And I will add, I never leave reviews/feedback for such services, good or bad. But this experience was so fantastic, I had to leave a review! Thanks so much for your service and see you again!!
