- MSMaria Soboleva5 days ago2.0The store is good and clean. Had my battery in stock. The young man who was in charge of changing my battery was not very present or careful. I noticed he left a large gap between where the old battery sat versus how he installed the new one. An older man came from inside the store, I pointed out the gap, and they redid the hold down. The young man dropped one of the hood insulation plastic clips into the depths and didn’t even try to find it. When I said he dropped it, he got defensive saying “I didn’t drop it, it fell”. I looked under the car and couldn’t find it. He ended up with an extra clip somehow, which makes me wonder what he didn’t clip down. I asked him where the red felt washer went which he had left out, then he said I didn’t need it and threw it away. I felt a general lack of care about the installation of my battery and the precision with which things were put back in place. It took about 45 minutes. I understand it takes time and practice to become experienced, and my car is old. But the employee’s nonchalant attitude, carelessness of making sure my battery was properly inserted, and inability to own up to his mistakes, made this a negative experience for me.

In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
