I took my Subaru in for an oil change and tire rotation. I noticed the tires pressure was far above what is specified inside the door. The next morning, I noticed a 5 inch spot of clean oil on my garage floor. I could see drips on the underside of the car. I took the car back in and the tech looked it over and said everything was tight. He said he did notice some oil further up on the engine block, and said it might be a seal leaking. But what’s odd is nothing was said about this the day I took the car in for the oil change. I asked the tech what I should do because I never saw a leak before and now there was a leak after the oil change. He said I just watch it and see what happens or bring it back in 2 days when the main tech was in. I decided to take the car to the Subaru dealer. They checked and said the lower oil pan was leaking. And the oil sensor was leaking. So I got these repaired. Now, I know these things aren’t part of a standard oil change, but I think the tech should have noticed this when he did the oil change and pointed it out to me on day one. And they should have recommended a course of action. I’ve used Eldersburg Mr. Tire before and have been generally satisfied with their service. However, I think they should have done much better this time. I am baffled that they saw a leak after I took the car back in, but didn’t notice it during the oil change.

The website says they take walk ins . Went there on Sunday to get tires mount and balanced . The place was empty and no customers . The advisor told me that he can’t take me in until Tuesday . How are those places surviving business? . Or may be they have a lot of business and don’t need any more work .

My husband’s truck was towed to the Eldersburg location. The tow truck driver, unfortunately, dropped the truck off in the parking lot, making it hard for the mechanics to push into the bays. Instead of suggesting we reach out to the tow truck company to have him come back out and move in front of the bays, Alex’s only solution was to pay an $200+ extra in order for his guys to move the truck into the work area. Mind you- the truck wasn’t starting because the starter was bad…the same starter this Mr. Tire just replaced six months ago. Alex offered no resolution, lied…and said he offered my husband the option to have it towed in front of the bays. When speaking directly to the tow truck driver, he stated he tows vehicles often to this location, and he’s been told not to leave vehicles in front of the bays. I feel this should be a fee worked out between the towing company and Mr Tire, not an expense placed on the customer. Two- I feel since this is because of Mr. Tire’s faulty part/work to start, we should not have to pay for any parts or labor in general for this repair. Terrible service. Rude employees!
