- KRKevin Ross5 days ago1.0Does not do right by their customers. I bought an inexpensive pack of vacuum line plugs. Like $6. Ended up not having the size I needed. I tried to return it and was told by "the boss" that I cannot return it because, "I can't resell that since it was opened". So the store can't tape it closed and put it back on the shelf... ok... well. It's not about the money. It's the fact you didn't even try to work with me or even apologize for not being able to take it back. It's the fact that after you said you won't take it back, you immediately dismissed me and ignored me like I was garbage and not even worth telling me to have a nice day. You just lost a customer for life.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
