  I put 5 stars only because I’ve used Enterprise for years and usually have great service — one incident won’t change that — but this is what happened recently. I reserved a full‑size SUV in Edgewood, MD on 2/12/26 but was given a RAV4 instead. While driving to Ohio, I got a flat on the PA Turnpike and ended up on a donut. I went to the nearest Enterprise (about 3 miles away) to swap the car, but they had no vehicles and sent me to a tire shop. The tire was irreparable and no replacement was available. I then drove to another Enterprise (another ~3 miles). They also said no cars and told me to try another tire shop. With closing time approaching and over 100 miles left to drive on a donut, I insisted on a swap. Only then did they give me a Jeep Compass — another downgrade from my original reservation. They also couldn’t process it as a simple exchange and instead closed my first contract and opened a new one, causing duplicate charges for 2/17/26. I’ve always trusted Enterprise, but this experience was stressful and unsafe. I hope it’s addressed so it doesn’t happen to other customers.

  When I rented a car for the first time with another company, it was an absolute nightmare. Bad service and endless hassle. But renting with Enterprise this time was the complete opposite. Their team was friendly, efficient, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I’m grateful they helped turn my perception of car rentals around.

  No issues with vehicle. Only two requirements 1 you must return the vehicle in the same condition and match the gas level 2 a deposit of good faith is required. Renting process was smooth, quick, and easy. And I appreciated having the option to drop the vehicle back off after business hours. On the first day Owen, the manager, took very good care of me and explained everything to me beforehand. Would recommend renting a vehicle with enterprise, at their Edgewood location.

  I felt very safe and comfortable with the car I drove. Enterprise operated on time as was scheduled, no lateness. This was a returned visit for me. I recommend Enterprise to you.
