Took daughter's car in for a routine oil change and the tech found an oil leak we had not known about (no yellow light, no oil puddles), ignored it, put new oil in, managed to strip the threads of the drain plug so it couldn't close, and told their internal manager, who ignored it as well and let us take the car as if nothing was wrong. Disaster was averted when she unexpectedly came home early from her nursing shift in Baltimore, driving back before all of the new oil had drained, but with the RED oil light on and the car actually beeping at her during the last few miles. By then the sun was up and we found the overnight oil puddle in the driveway. Criminal negligence! We will never use Mr. Tire or their parent company Monro ever again, and neither should you!
