Mr. Tire personnel were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable when I took my car in to patch a tire. They did the work in a very reasonable period of time.

This location just damaged several lugs nuts and the wheel on our '25 Suburban that came STRAIGHT off the truck from the plant when we purchased it. The dealer simply removed the plastic and gave it a wash, and it has never been anywhere for service yet of any sort as I do our oil changes. We noticed a slow leak on the right-rear tire... the Chevy at let us know when it got down to 28 PSI, at which point I refilled the tire and monitored the pressure for several days. I confirmed the link and my wife called Mr. Tire to make an appointment. After dropping it off today the lady there called us back later to advise they found a nail but cannot work on it because on of the wheel studs is snapped. I suggested to her that someone put an impact on it in the wrong direction, despite her claim that no one touched it. She advised that they don't use impact guns. What a joke. I then asked how she would then know the lug nut was snapped if they didn't try taking it off, and she said that they use their fingers to turn lug nuts before ever trying to take a wheel off. No one does this. Literally, no one. Upon arriving to pick the vehicle up I observed damage to several lug nuts on the right-rear wheel. The one with the heaviest damage was the locking lug nut. I inspected the key to the locking lug nut and it now has signs of use-- impact marks on the edges of the hex portion where an impact gun and socket were clearly used on it. Mind you this was a brand new wheel key that would have never been used yet otherwise. However, I found no lug nut with a broken stud. The lady came out to our car to show us and pointed to the locking lug nut. I stated that it was funny that they didn't try to remove any lug nuts, yet of all lug nuts on the car, only that wheel has damaged ones now. I then showed her the damaged wheel lock key and she told me they didn't even use it because the car doesn't having locking lug nuts. I told her it does and she was adamant that it did not. I had to show her that it was a locking lug nut, it just looks like a standard one at a glance. I asked if they have cameras in the shop, and she got a little more upset with the situation and told me no. I told her there's no way that they don't have cameras and she told me I can believe what I want. My word against hers, and she stuck to her story so we finished the little argument and she went back inside. I continued to examine things further in the parking lot and recalled her claim about the car not having locking lug nuts. The spinning cosmetic lug nut that was busted up rotated when I turned it harder. Looking at the damage to that lug nut again it was obvious what happened: They tried taking the locking lug nut off with a standard/impact socket at first and broke the cosmetic lug nut on it. They then realized it was a locking lug nut and used they to take it off with an impact, which should never be used on a locking lug nut key. At that point they apparently decided to put it back together, tell us the stud was broken and they never attempted to take the wheel off, in order to avoid responsibility for the damage. I went back inside and told them that I now realize they did and asked to see that their shop doesn't have cameras. She repeated that there were no cameras and refused to let me see inside the shop, citing customers aren't allowed. I've walked inside Mr. Tire at several other locations over the years/decades for them to show me things on previous vehicles. I then asked for a mechanic, to ask how they remove lug nuts, knowing they would say an impact gun. She told me I can't speak them. I chuckled knowing why she wouldn't want them talking to me, but asked why, still. She advised that they were at lunch. It was 1:50 PM, and I asked, "they're all at lunch at the same time, right now??". She said "yes" and nothing more. I asked someone else at their front desk if they had cameras in the shop and she immediately got upset and jumped in to tell me not to talk to the employee because they have no involvement in this. This place is a total joke-- avoid them.
