I just moved to the area and needed to get my car serviced after my cross country move. The service dept here was excellent. They checked out my car, sent me a video of the repairs needed and I was able to get the work completed the same day. Afterwards the tech Rusty came out and talked to me about my vehicle. Excellent customer service all around.

This is a fantastic place to get your Toyota vehicles serviced! From the customer service to the skilled technicians. It’s important to us we really care about our Toyota trucks and are extremely grateful we found a reliable company that we can completely trust. Thanks Michael for all the help today and Charles and Rusty who serviced our vehicles!

If I could give a 0 I would. I miss Bill Kidd's a lot - bought two cars here and never had a problem with service. Since the behemoth Sheehy bought it, it's already gone downhill. A tech forgot to do the simple act of putting the oil cap back on so the oil ended up splashing over the engine, almost causing a car fire and rendering the vehicle undriveable. We were stranded in DC with an impending big snowstorm bearing down. They did pay for the expenses of a taxi back to Balt, tow back to Balt, and other but the whole event was rather traumatic. To top it off, I find out now they don't take walk-ins for a simple check on a possible tire leak and a headlight that's out unless no one is there. Don't go here. We'll drive 20+ minutes out of our way to get our car serviced now and if I buy another Toyota I'll go up to York.

I purchased my Toyota Corolla from Bill Kidd’s in 2019 and have taken it back to this location for every service since then. I never had a single issue, until now. My most recent visit was so unacceptable that I feel obligated to warn others.
To put the it into perspective, my Corolla at the time of visit had 80,000 miles. I had a 2:30 PM drop-off appointment because my car was making an intermittent metal clanking noise from the underneath rear area of my car while the engine was under throttle and torque. The sound only could be heard during accelerating forward and in reverse. My service advisor was Robert Edelstein. Despite having a scheduled appointment, my car sat for nearly two hours and wasn’t touched until 4:08 PM. After barely 20 minutes of “inspection,” Robert told me both of my upper control arms needed to be replaced and quoted me about $2,300. When I asked how serious it was, he casually said it “wasn’t that bad” and blamed it on normal wear and tear, which made absolutely no sense based on the noise I described & how I was still able to use my sterling wheel with no problem. He continued to explain it to me but I was not convinced that this was the source of the noise I was hearing. The way he spoke to me made it very clear he assumed I didn’t know anything simply because I’m a young woman. I felt dismissed, talked down to, and flat-out taken advantage of. I still paid the $170 diagnostic fee, but I left feeling completely disrespected and honestly shocked at how far the customer service has fallen. I was advised by Robert that the service center closes at 5pm. The inspection of my Corolla felt rushed and careless.
I went to another mechanic for a second opinion because something about that quote felt off, and I was right. The real issue was an $85 fix to my exhaust hanger. Nothing was wrong with my control arms. The fact that a Toyota service center couldn’t correctly diagnose a Toyota Corolla is ridiculous, but what’s worse is that they tried to push a $2,300 repair I didn’t even need. And to top it all off, Robert admitted the control arms “weren’t that bad” and actually suggested I “just turn up my music” so I wouldn’t hear the noise. That is not only unprofessional, it’s dangerous and insulting.
I’m beyond disappointed. I trusted this service center for years, but since Sheehy took over, the quality and integrity have gone downhill fast. I should not have to pay for an incorrect diagnosis or feel like I’m being targeted because of my age or gender.
I would absolutely NOT recommend bringing your vehicle here. Customers deserve better than this.
