  Charged me $140 for an oil change. Never paid that much in my life for an oil change. The employee told me it was because my car take a lot of oil - close to 10 quarts. I looked it up later and saw my car takes 6.1 quarts of oil. The amount they charged just for the oil itself was insane - close to $100 just for that. I can find the same oil online for $38.99 for 5 quarts. Also charged me a bs “shop fee”. The employees were nice and the work was completed quickly, so I’ll give them that. But I paid much higher than expected.

  100% top-notch customer service. First of all I came in on a Tuesday with a brake problem. It was my daughter‘s birthday and the guy put brake pads on for me at the last minute like they really squeezed me in. I still need rotors and he told me to come back on Saturday. I just came back today. I am leaving now and when I say the customer service was top notch. Everything was explained to me. Never left me guessing. Made sure I was comfortable and I’m not feeling well and it’s a guy that was behind the counter was just phenomenal like all of them are phenomenal so don’t hesitate go here. They will take care of you and even gave me a discount for an inconvenience that I felt wasn’t really an inconvenience.

  Went to have a patch done. Im from out of state and they said I had to drop it off and there mechanic works when he wants. With no idea when it would be done!! Needless to say I left cause there's 8 other tire shops on that road!

  So I decided to go into my local Mr. Tire. I just got a vehicle. I wanted to get it inspected and looked over, maybe find a new relationship with the mechanic. So, I went to the place nearest to my house, a place that I can walk to. And try to develop a relationship. So I walk in. No one's at the front desk. So I look around and I ring the bell. And then eventually this guy comes out and the guy says, Do you have an appointment? Or are you gonna leave your car here for a few days? I cannot believe that you open that way. I told them, that's a great opening. He didn't say hello, how are you doing? How can I help you? Nothing. He said, do you have an appointment or do you want to leave your vehicle here for a few days? I was actually quite stunned by the lack of customer service. That was probably the worst experience I've had as an intro to any car situation, and I've been in the car business for well over 20 years. And then the man, I think he saw my expression on my face, and he asked me, did I have or know anyone who can work because they don't have people? Maybe I look like a mechanic in my scrubs or something. I'm not sure. I don't know what made him think to ask me that question, but he did. And I informed him, no, sir. Then I said, thank you, sir, and left the store. Do not go to my local Mr. Tire. It's a reason I've lived here for a decade and not stepped a foot in the store, and now I understand. I will never enter that story again.

  The biggest difference between having a poor or great experience with any business are the people working there. The NEW team working at Store #724 10501 York rd. Cockeysville MD are top notch. Despite being down a person for the day, they were able to take the time to discuss with me options and pricing, and then install four tires and an oil change as quickly as possible. The mechanics and manager were polite and helpful, which you generally don't find at most chain level shops. If you had used this Mr. Tire or are looking for a great service and a friendly vibe, give them a try, as they are under new management and several new mechanics. My family and I will be coming back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
