The part needed for my Jeep Cherokee purchased at Don Whotes was on back order. I was told multiple dates the part was to arrive but it took 80 days, Don Whites did nothing to help me with my rental car needs and offered no reimbursements. ($2,600) It was a nightmare. After 30 years of being a loyal customer at Don Whites I will sever my ties with them. Very very disappointing,

Wanted to share my experience with Don White’s. I found a great deal on a a vehicle online and drove almost two hours to check out the vehicle. Earl from the online team was great and informative and gave me enough great info to convince me to drive in. I was partnered with Chris who was my sales rep on site for the sale. Chris was very knowledgeable and easygoing and made the buying process easy and has a lot of experience in the field. I would highly recommend Chris and the Don White’s team for any car buying needs.

This review is bifurcated.
The staff are on the aggregate nice, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. So for customer service and staff - 4 stars.
For the operation there is always something. I brought my car in, after some back and forth on service and my warranty the car was diagnosed and serviced.
Due to operational lapses I wasn’t notified that my car was ready for about a week. I was away for work when I was notified that my car was ready.
Subsequently I ended up contracting pneumonia and was down for another week or so. I brought my car in due to needing a new battery and auxiliary battery. When I came in to pick up my car due to billing challenges it took about 30 minutes to get checked out just to go and leave and to have my car not to start. The batteries were bad.
I was told that it was due to the cold or something. But in my mind I would presume that a car dealership and full service, service center would be aware of that potential issue and mitigate that? Or not put in bad parts to begin with.
This was my first day out of my house since being hospitalized and healing from Pnuemonia and I am struggling to stay up and awake and I still feel terrible. So to come pick up my car after it was “fixed” for it to be broken still, is crazy. And it’s been about 3 hours and I’m struggling. But I can’t feel singled out, another gentleman was here all day since this morning just for some breaks and tires.
Again, staff are upbeat and personable and accommodating. But something operationally here is broken. And after spending over $1000.00 I don’t think it’s unreasonable to not have these types of issues.

I usually have a decent experience with DW. I had a good and a bad experience this time, hence the middle rating. I had a fairly unique problem that the technician figured out. They needed a part and got it ordered for a return the same week to finish the job. All good. I also asked about a part for the interior that they quoted a very high price for. I found it for substantially less on a Mopar website. So I declined. Came in later in the week for the finish on the initial job. The service writer came and told me that they had installed the interior part that I had declined. They reduced the price, but still didn't meet the price I had for the interior part. I had already ordered the part and would pay a 15% restocking fee. They service manager declined to meet the price I had gotten for the part, for a difference of $12 dollars. I was ready to eat the 15%, but they wouldn't cut off the $12 for their mistake! Instead they spent the labor to remove the part and replace it with my old one. I was shocked that for $12 they wouldn't make better their mistake. I'm not happy with DW's service at the moment.

DON’T GO HERE. They charged me for a service covered under warranty. The Jeep Wave program provides 2 free oil change/tire rotation services. I took my Jeep to a different dealership for the 1st scheduled service at 5,000 miles and there was no charge. I took my Jeep to Don Whites Timonium Jeep for the 2nd scheduled service at 10,000 miles and they charged me $88.55. When I questioned why and explained that I still had one free Jeep Wave service, they didn’t care. They said the full amount of the oil change isn’t covered. They didn’t tell me in advance that they planned to charge me. The invoice doesn’t even say what the charge is for. They had my car all day for an oil change appointment that was supposed to be at 9:40 am. They never said anything about a charge and I called 4 times throughout the day. When I complained about the charge they took me to the service manager, Stan Carder and he was the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I’ve ever encountered in a car dealership or anywhere for that matter. He spoke to us in the most disrespectful manner. He told us they don’t honor the free Jeep wave services for people who don’t buy their vehicle at Don Whites. He told me to go elsewhere if we wanted the Jeep Wave service to be honored. It’s very well publicized that any licensed Jeep dealership honors the Jeep wave program. We called Jeep directly upon arrival at home and Jeep confirmed that there is no charge for this service. I’ve filed a formal complaint with Jeep on this dealership and the service manager.
