    Recently, I found myself in need of a new vehicle and Anderson Honda in Hunt Valley was the fourth stop in my search. Salesman Jim Middleton guided me through some vehicles I was interested in and pointed out the various incentives and packages available. Jim was pleasant to work with and thoroughly knowledgeable about the vehicle and its operation. He gave me a complete walkthrough of the configuration options and answered all of my questions as we went over the vehicle I chose. Honestly, a Honda wasn’t even on my radar for this particular purchase but after seeing the vehicles and taking a test drive, I was convinced. Overall, this was THE BEST car purchase experience of my life; no sales pressure, really good finance rate, nice discounts, fair trade for my old vehicle.

    UPDATE - Jeff Miller contacted me immediately and offered another oil change for free and do a full check of my vehicle. Very nice job Anderson addressing my issue immediately. (EMAIL SENT TO ) Jeff Miller, President of Anderson GMC Last week I had a routine oil change performed on my 2024 GMC Yukon at your Anderson Hunt Valley GMC facility. I’ve recently noticed that there was smoke coming from under my hood on occasion. I thought that this was due to exhaust being blown back under the car. I noticed today that this was not exhaust but actually smoke coming from under the hood. I opened the hood and found the following. It’s clear that your technician did not replace my oil cap and no double checks were done on this vehicle. Over the Thanksgiving Holidays I traveled extensively and this is a major concern moving forward. I don’t know what damage was caused and may not become apparent until the future. For a Dealership this is totally unacceptable. Even Jiffy Lube does quality check. I find it ironic that your service agent was quick to call trying to sell me a brake cleaning, cabin filter change and other items. He should have spent his time with being sure that something as basic as an oil change was done correctly. I’m now at risk of engine issues in the future. Any issues may not surface for some time and will be my problem. I need to know what you are going to do to protect my significant investment in the future. Saying this shouldn’t be a problem is not an option. This is the 3rd GMC Yukon I’ve purchased from Anderson and Boyle prior. I’ve paid extra for Dealer Service just to find out that a Jiffy Lube service would have provided me with better service. I’ll expect a call from you today at xxx xxx xxxx and a response to my email. If I do not hear from you the appropriate thing for me to do is contact my Attorney, have a certified letter sent to you and GM. Where are your quality checks? I just spoke with Tom Mostyn, your Service Manager at Anderson Hunt Valley. He said the vehicle has a 100,000 mile drive train warrantee. That doesn’t help me since I drive my vehicles many more mile than that.
