    The Baltimore area Enterprise (located at 5649 Baltimore National Pike Ste 3, Catonsville, MD 21228) is such a wonderful place due to the great staff - especially branch manger Thomas Forbes. All in the midst made my experience the best I've ever had at a vehicle rental place!

    First, all unresponsive businesses deserve one star. Being on hold with the robot voice repeating itself then to hear a click and it turns to terrible waiting music. They love to waste your time. You should also expect to wait for any service in general. After having to correct their mistakes/suspicious decisions, I came 3 days in a row and noticed only the same 3 team members were on shift. This location doesn’t answer the phone because they have no staff. Might be time to close up shop. They gave me a car with the oil light on and I am convinced, the most technologically deficient car they have. I was already irritated to be given a Nissan Altima (as I drive an Audi and believed I should’ve been sent elsewhere with a similar option of cars, insurance sent me here). The Apple CarPlay rarely works, the car is slow, takes forever to warm up and do anything. Very frustrating experience driving this car and being unable to speak with anyone about it to potentially resolve. Ew.

    Thomas and Brian are absolutely the best combo at the Catonsville office! I love their customer service and they are always so professional!     A Remarkable Customer Service Experience What started as a frustrating setback quickly became one of the most uplifting customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you, Enterprise team! The evening before, I reserved a rental car through the GEICO app so I could drop my Honda off at Autobody Evolution (conveniently located right next door to this Enterprise branch) for repairs. When I arrived the next morning to pick up my rental, I was told—very politely—that no vehicles were currently available. The first gentleman asked me to please have a seat while he worked to resolve the issue. At one point, he mentioned that a larger truck could be made available, but it would cost more than my insurance allowance. I explained that I wasn’t comfortable driving such a large vehicle, and with money being tight after recently losing my job, paying extra simply wasn’t possible. After about 45–50 minutes, my patience was wearing thin. I approached a second young man to ask for an update. To my surprise, he was already holding a clipboard and car key, and before I could even speak, he kindly invited me to follow him to my rental. The manager (the first gentleman, wearing glasses) had worked his magic—there was a freshly washed Toyota Corolla waiting for me. The second young man walked me through the rental agreement and noted pre-existing damages with professionalism and care. We even shared some uplifting conversation that left me smiling. Although I had originally requested a small SUV, I was more than satisfied with the sedan and left feeling happier than when I arrived. That speaks volumes. I was so impressed—especially with the second gentleman—that I asked to speak with his supervisor to commend him. That’s when I learned he reported directly to the first gentleman. Both of them had gone above and beyond. Returning the car was just as seamless. I refilled the tank, pulled in, and within five minutes the manager had inspected the vehicle, confirmed the fuel level, and processed my $50 deposit refund. Before I even left the lot, my CashApp notification chimed with the reimbursement. As someone with years of customer service experience and a degree in retail merchandising, I know how difficult it is to turn around a negative first impression. Research shows employees have only seven seconds to make that impression, and if it’s negative, it usually sticks. The fact that these two young men not only changed my impression but transformed it into one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had is nothing short of remarkable. Well done, gentlemen. Many thanks from a very happy customer!
