  I picked up my Volvo this morning after it spent a couple weeks at Autobody Evolution in Catonsville. The car looks amazing, and I will happily recommend ABE to anyone needing body work. From day 1, my interactions with everyone at ABE were easy and pleasant. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes both at drop-off and pick-up, and the convenience of having Enterprise on site for my rental was amazing. Thanks so much for the great work!

  I took my car to Auto Evolution, and the experience was extremely disappointing. They kept my car for weeks after the original completion date and pushed the date back three or four different times. This caused a major inconvenience since I had to keep using leave from work. Despite the delay, they didn’t offer any kind of courtesy vehicle, reimbursement, or apology. The repairs were minor, yet it took them over a month to complete. When I finally got my car back, as soon as I pulled off the lot, a “Headlight Malfunction” light appeared on the dashboard. I had to return the car, and they kept it for another week. They told me it was fixed, but the very next day, the same light came back on. I returned it again, and this time they claimed it was the car battery. I replaced the battery at my own expense, and once again, the light reappeared. At that point, I was beyond frustrated and decided to bring in a second mechanic—out of my own pocket—to inspect the issue. That mechanic literally had to come to their shop and point out the problem to them before it was finally fixed. Only after that did Auto Evolution manage to resolve the issue, and that was thanks to me, not them. To make matters worse, after everything was finally repaired, they suddenly informed me that my insurance hadn’t paid them. I ended up having to pay out of pocket at the last minute. The issue isn’t that my insurance didn’t pay—it’s that they failed to communicate this until the very end. Had the car been repaired correctly the first time, I wouldn’t have even been in this situation. I would never recommend Auto Evolution to anyone. Their professionalism, communication, and customer service are all severely lacking. This was my first and last time doing business with them. They’ve lost me as a customer, and I’m sure they’ll lose many more once others hear about my experience. I’ll be leaving a detailed review online and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

  Joseph Evens was able to quickly correct the miss communication and agree on a equal resolution to resolve the issue. He made potential negative outcome turn into a positive experience. He understood the hickups with communication and quickly resolved all issues.

  Auto Body Evolution Catonsville did a fantastic job on major repairs to my Toyota Corolla. Work involved replacing and repairing the entire side of my car from front to rear headlight after a hit and run forced me into a highway median. The work included tons of parts/work across body, electrical, and paint. After the work was completed my car was good as new (it’s only a 2024)! I really can’t believe it looks/feels as if the damage never happened. The staff did a great job updating me as work was completed and they walked me through everything when I picked my car up. Everything was handled seamlessly with my insurance. Thanks!

  Fixed up 2015 Avalon after the left front was pretty heavily damaged. Efficient and kept us informed! Car looks great!
