Catonsville Auto was a pleasure to deal with. JJ is so nice, I took my car for a oil change & they changed my air filter also.It was quick & easy, they had my car back to me in about a hour. I will definitely take my car there for all my vehicle needs !!

Here’s a strong, clear negative review that gets your point across without sounding over-the-top or dismissible: ⸻ I had a very frustrating experience with Caton Auto Clinic and would not recommend them. Communication was poor from the start. I had to keep following up just to get updates, and even then, the information I received was unclear or inconsistent. What really concerns me is the accuracy of their diagnosis. I was told there were issues with my rotors and other components, including a rear light that my vehicle doesn’t even have. That immediately made me question how thoroughly my car was actually inspected. It felt like I was being pushed into unnecessary repairs, including brakes and rotors, without a clear or trustworthy explanation. As a customer, you rely on a shop to be honest and precise, and that just wasn’t my experience here. Overall, I left feeling misled and overcharged for issues that were either exaggerated or incorrect. I would strongly suggest getting a second opinion before trusting them with your vehicle.

Went to get a State inspection. It failed which is fine but the report said that I need new front brakes and rotors, wiper blades, lights replaced and a new windshield. Not an issue until I was told the 1800 price tag without the windshield, because they have a windshield person or something to that affect. So as most people do, I did my own research and got all the parts with the included windshield and installation for roughly 1100. Took it back for the re-inspection only for it to fail due to the "driver side rotor" which it wasn't. It was the passenger side rotor being defective. Not to mention my specific van has a marker in the tail light where the inspector says it needs 2 bottom lights. News flash, there is no light there but it was included in the 1800 price they quoted. Make that make sense. In the follow up paperwork, he says "customer was right, that is my mistake". Words we all love to hear as customers....(sarcasm). Anyway, I got the passenger side replaced and now its back for a 3rd time. Hopefully nothing else is wrong. Oh yeah, turns out my brakes and rotors were fine, it was rust. But again why quote me a high price and say they need to be placed when the "rust" is something that could be fixed? I still got brand new ones anyway. Needless to say its a bit frustrating especially when the inspector isn't being as attentive as he should, making mistakes about to have me pay for things that I don't need. After this, I will definitely keep my distance from here.

words cannot how thankful i am for caton auto clinic. i am currently in a rough spot in life, and my cars engine is failing. they were able to give me a second opinion and waive the fee due to my current financial situation. and now for whatever reason, my car isnt actively misfiring like it once was before the car got to them. i am so gratedul for the second opinion and being treated with the most kindness an auto shop has given me. i will definitely be returning in the future if i have issues with any other cars, and when i have the financial means to do so.

Overall great customers service and great service on my vehicle I wish the diagnostic fees were waived with repairs that would have saved me under $200 They did deduct $45 Cost of repairs were lil pricey I paid Lil over $700 which covered 2 diagnostic fees and change of oil pan gasket of 2014 Accord Could have shopped for lower cost but I guess they make up for it in the service they provide I definitely would go to then again cheaper than going to the dealer
