  I had an excellent experience at **Valvoline**! The technicians were extremely professional from start to finish. They took the time to explain everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary, and were very honest about what my car actually needed. Special shout out to Tavon and Jay! I really appreciated how efficient and organized the team was—they worked quickly without cutting corners. You can tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. It’s not always easy to find a place you can trust with your vehicle, but this location definitely earned my confidence. If you’re looking for a place that’s honest, helpful, and professional, I highly recommend Valvoline. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  The team that addressed the urgent need of not having coolant in the reservoir was greatly appreciated. There was an additional service to be performed. I waited in line an additional ten minutes to have the service ($86). The staff member who was working with my car returned to state the necessary equipment wasn’t available. He apologized for the inconvenience and waived the fee for the antifreeze refill. God bless this young man. If your company can provide him with a financial incentive or a gift card for groceries/car fuel ($150.00), please present him with it. His level of professionalism and humanity was/is greatly appreciated.

  The manager, Tony, is highly competent, professional, and possesses excellent management skills. I have consistently admired his mannerisms. He is very knowledgeable. Kevin was servicing my vehicle today and demonstrated a similar level of knowledge, kindness, and professionalism. This was my first experience with Kevin, and he explained everything in detail. It was a pleasure to meet such a respectful young man. Please inform Tony that it is always a pleasure to visit this Valvoline location for vehicle servicing. I kindly request that you retain his services and consider promoting both Tony and Kevin.

  I'm going to say , this was one of the best services I ever had on one of my vehicles. I will continue to bring my vehicles here. Professional, clean and all other boxes checked. The team work and seamless service needs to be recognized as top notch. Though the service gets done , it doesn't compare to the professionalism I reserved today.   This place is full of scam artist and I would never take my personal vehicle here. Anytime A company vehicle is brought to this location they will add on anything to a simple oil change to rack up charges on the company account. I’ve informed my supervisor of this behavior a few times to the point when we go there now they have to call for approvals but now they’ve found a new way to try and bypass getting authorizations, read below. After visiting them for a simple oil change, I had to contact my supervisor and inform my driver text thread immediately 👇🏾 The site supervisor is in on the fishy behavior as well. Hey everyone, just a quick heads up — Please be mindful when going to Vavoline Bowie for oil changes. They have a process where they call the office/supervisor to get authorization for additional work, but they are not always communicating that with the driver in real time. For example, I went in today specifically for an oil change, and while I was there, I overheard them calling the office to authorize additional repairs without discussing it with me first. Just be sure to ask questions and confirm exactly what is being requested to be approved by the office before any additional work is phoned to be authorized. I’ve already made our supervisor aware of this situation!!
