  The holidays can be stressful! The staff here at the Bowie location made the end of my Christmas holiday travel experience as stress free as possible! Great customer service! Highly recommending based on my recent experience.

  Enterprise Bowie was horrible. I reserved a Premium SUV for my son and family for their Christmas vacation. They couldn't find my reservation!I presented my confirmation #. It didn't matter. They offered me a Tahoe in place of the Grand Wagoneer or Expedition Max and wanted to charge me more money! The Tahoe was not extended and didn't have the trunk space that was needed. They had no care or concern! Although they had 2 Wagoneers in the parking lot, I was told they were reserved. What about my reservation?!! I ALREADY PAID FOR IT IN ADVANCE!! I rent cars often but it won't be from them ever again! Beware of bait and switch!!! WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

  We just rented a car from the Enterprise Bowie MD location. The staff is outstanding. They are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. Their waiting room is comfortable, restroom very clean. Our car was so clean, all questions were answered and they followed up when needed. So nice. This staff made a stressful time less stressful. Highly recommend.

  The team at Enterprise in Bowie is amazing. I had to rent a vehicle through Toyota, and the entire process from beginning to end was smooth and hassle-free. While I was waiting for the rental, a young lady behind the counter was kind enough to let me borrow her phone charger when my phone was dying. That small act of kindness really stood out and made the experience even better. Thank you!!! Customer service was top notch!

  I have rented from this company three times. The first experience was excellent, and I gave the Bowie staff a 5 star review in Google accordingly. The manager that day and his staff were top notch. I wrote "Very professional and friendly staff. Timely service. Much better than Avis in Bowie!!!!" My next two rental experiences were completely the opposite. On the second rental, my car was reserved for the Monday after Thanksgiving and almost none of the employees showed up for work. One employee stated they all called in "sick." As a result, I saw the previous manager have to go out and help clean cars to prepare them for all the customers waiting. For that, he deserves kudos and a 4 star rating again. The 2 other people (one white male associate and one black male technician) were working very hard to help every customer as best they could, given almost none of their colleagues showed up for work. And though we were delayed 2.5 hours, I again give the staff credit for trying to serve customer needs and would still rate them all highly. My third rental attempt was the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back. After Enterprise confirmed my rental at Bowie Heritage facility the day before, sending me a text confirming the rental again the morning of my appointment and then confirming again by allowing me to check in by phone before my appointment, when I arrived to pick up my car an assistant manager named Tajuana Merella indicated no cars were available. She gave no definite availability time and would not check willingly any other sites for car availability. She was disrespectful, accusatory, and not truthful in her description of the status of car availability at Bowie Heritage Blvd nor at other sites, I have subsequently learned. The car that was meant for me she gave to another customer in my presence and stated that aloud to another employee. The most concerning thing was her lack of professionalism and accusatory attitude towards customers. She seemed to feel that it was our fault we booked our cars the day before. Since Enterprise Reservations accepted the day before rentals and confirmed them several times; why would a customer not expect for their rental appointment and car to be available? I will provide detail on her specific poor management to the appropriate corporate Enterprise parties. But I list a description of my experience here for those who try to use this particular Enterprise Heritage Blvd facility. What is most concerning is the extreme variance in service at this facility from other Enterprise stations, particularly those that serve in predominately white communities, e.g. Crofton. At Bowie Heritage Blvd facility, the quality of service is too dependent upon your luck of the draw for who is working that day. Most customers and staff at the Bowie Heritage Blvd facility are black and I hope this is not why Tajuana felt she could treat customers with such disregard. This facility also plays a cd player/radio in the customer reception area at ridiculously high decibels (several customers have complained). You would expect soft rock, classical, or maybe even jazz. Instead, the music is not appropriate for a family serving or business serving facility and consists of blaring rap and hip hop music, replete with profanity and sexual innuendo. The music barely leaves customers able to think, hear, or be heard. Add to this the carpet appears rarely vacuumed and the insensitivity to customer needs is even more apparent. All of this combined with the actions displayed by the mentioned assistant manager and one can only conclude that this particular facility is allowed to operate below Enterprise's stated standards in a way that is concerning. For these reasons, I am changing my rating to 1 star to match the service I received on this last rental. Depending on the response received from Enterprise's senior management to my concerns, it may be my last rental ever with Enterprise.
