I chose to go here because of a recommendation. From the phone to servicing, it went very smooth and efficient. Jerome (General Manager) replaced my battery himself even though there were two employees with him available. I highly recommend this place and thank you for helping me out! I’ll be coming back.

He was friendly from the time I entered the store by greeting me and providing assistance. I felt he deserved a tip for the excellent customer service but he declined it. Hope the company will take care of great reps like this. A few weeks earlier, I met the manager as well (can't recall his name) but he was also friendly and helpful.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
