Today I called Advance AutoZone because my car died on the parking lot of the Methodist Church I was dropping my grandson to nursery school I spoke to Mr. Gary and I asked if I could buy a battery over the phone and he said he was going to send someone to give me a jumpstart sure enough 20 min later a nice gentleman came and gave me a jumpstart and I drove to the store to get my battery once inside Gary took care of me when out to see what what kind of battery I needed because I didn’t know the size the model or anything else's then a Lady took the battery and proceeded to change the new battery she took care of it she did a great job! Gary came out and started the car it was working and on my way back to pick up my grandson I want to thank everyone in the store for being so nice and helpful to me thank you!! Gary and thanks all your employees ! 5 Stars !!

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
