Though I'd never visited this particular service center, I ran into a familiar face and received the same great customer service to which I'm accustomed to at my "home" location. The service tech exhibited professionalism per usual, was knowledgeable of the problem at hand and provided a recommendation following diagnostic testing that proved successful and resolved my car issues at a cost that wasn't back-breaking, thus making what I quickly perceived to be a very serious issue manageable. Forever grateful! There are a lot of naysayers when it comes to Jiffy Lube, but I have always received nothing less than great customer service/care.

When I arrived, I asked how long the service would take and was told 15 minutes. Unfortunately, it ended up taking about an hour — thankfully, I had the time. My bigger concern was the checkout process. The first employee rang me up, but their computer was having issues, and the total showed $128. When a second employee came over to restart the system, the total suddenly changed to $131. He then explained that there was an additional $3 charge for one of the services — but that information wasn’t mentioned until the moment I was checking out. I’m not someone who complains over three dollars, but the inconsistency was frustrating. If the charge needed to be added, he should have overridden it or clearly explained the difference upfront instead of surprising me at the end.
