- YGYenifer GandaraMar 24, 20261.0I went in for a standard oil change and was told that my battery was low and needed to be changed out. Never had any issues with my battery leading up to this. They quoted me $300 to change out the battery. I declined. Once my oil change was done, they pulled my car out and turned it off. To my surprise, my car would not start. I went back inside and the workers had a smirk when they said “car won’t start? It needs a new battery”. Knowing better, I declined the battery and asked for a jump. I drove down the road to the AutoZone to get my battery tested and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. It’s been over a month since my oil change and my battery is still perfectly fine. I don’t know what they did to drain my battery but that is a disgusting business practice to scam people out of money. NEVER GOING BACK!

They refused to do it right away because of a small leak I have. The vehicle is 30yrs old & this issue is normal. Needless to say I took my vehicle to a different location of jiffy lube and the job was completed within 20mins. Lazy men at this location.
