- NNNicholas Nezis6 days ago5.0Thank you to the young girl running things this morning. My car broke down while in line at the Dunkin Donuts across the street. I was pretty sure it was the battery, but I didn't have my tools or a jump kit. She let me borrow the unit to jump so that I could bring my car to the store. But that didn't work. So I purchased a battery. Instead of carrying it by hand, she provided me with tools and a cart. Thanks to her, a really crappy situation was made into an easy fix. This store just earned a life long customer. Amazing customer service!

Well when both nights at the counter was not helping the customer in front of me, the other one comes to the other counter and takes the only other person there. A gentleman who came in behind me. Neither of them acknowledged me. Came in yesterday to pick up an order for my disabled father and the man at the counter said there was no order there. Right after I left the store by father called, and surprise, there was an order there! No apology for having to come back or anything. Never coming back again. You should be ashamed of yourselves if that's how you typically treat female customers.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
