- DBD BDec 7, 20251.0This company had no truck for me on the day of my move even though I had a confirmed reservation and a text two days prior indicating my truck would be ready and available. Despite the confirmations I received by text, email, and on the Penske portal, this location claimed they didn't offer the unlimited mileage reservation I had made and confirmed. They called the reservation a "glitch" in the system. They wanted to bait and switch me into a pay per mile rental claiming to have tried to call me during the two days prior (still unacceptable, moves require planning!). I just received a lot of excuses about why they couldn't/wouldn't fulfill the reservation I had made. I believe they just wanted a contract they could squeeze more money out of during a high demand time. Edit: To add insult to injury, sometime between Dec. 6th and the morning of the 7th, Penske tried to put a charge on the credit card I used for the reservation. Thankfully my credit card company was all over it and sent me a fraud alert and declined the charge!
