This stunning museum was amazingly FREE to enter and perfect for wandering on my own during a short weekend trip. They have a coat, umbrella check as well as amenities such as maps (showing 3 floors on view), and a small area on the first floor to purchase coffee and snacks. The location of the museum is close enough to walk to other downtown shops and restaurants.
You’ll enjoy a wide variety of objects and a majority of rooms are interactive for children.

Yup, it's a pay to park, open to the elements lot, next to The Walter's Museum. Good parking location if they have room, not a big spot. They do triple park vehicles so that is a negative. Days that I used the lot was on weekends and it was not busy. Check prices, don't remember it being very expensive to stay half a day - probably not worth an hours stay.
