Towing was not an option due to the height of the truck so I started calling auto stores in the hopes that I could convince someone to bring a new battery to me. After a few failed attempts with other stores, I reached Will, the DIY manager for store 7172. What a lifesaver! Will figured out a way for me to purchase the battery over the phone and then he drove over to the parking garage as soon as he got off work and installed it for me! Will was an absolute blessing and he took his personal time to go the extra mile for a stranded customer. Thank you Will!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
