I dropped my car off at 3:15 PM for what should have been a simple one-tire replacement. About an hour later, they called to say the tire they ordered didn’t fit my car, but that someone could go pick up another one that was “just $3 more.” I asked if the job would be finished by 6 because I had plans at 7 and was told “absolutely.” 6 PM came and went with no update. I eventually had to call the store while standing inside the store just to get someone to tell me what was going on. I was told the tire would arrive in “just a few minutes.” When it still hadn’t arrived, I explained I needed to leave and asked if they could simply put my old tire back on so I could come back another day. They agreed. But by 7 PM—after they had already closed—I was told the old tire was “too unsafe” to reinstall. I offered to sign a waiver just so I could leave, and they said okay… only to tell me ten minutes later that the new tire had suddenly arrived and they were installing it. To top it off, the replacement tire ended up costing about $50 more than the one I originally ordered. I want to emphasize that the staff I interacted with were polite, apologetic, and courteous. My frustration is with the service and communication, not the people working there. Their kindness is the reason this is a one-star review instead of zero.

Bottom line: If I had to do it over, I would have just gotten the immediate issue addressed and not opted for the tune-up. I stopped by when the check engine light came on. Good: • They diagnosed the oxygen sensor issue. • They completed the work the same day. • There’s no indication of rudeness or outright refusal to help. Bad: • Lack of clarity about what the “tune-up” included. • Discrepancies between verbal estimate and final invoice. • High price for tune-up • Basic service expectations (like fluid checks, oil change) not met. • Extended non-business conversation while customers were waiting. • No one at the desk during follow-up visit.

Fast efficient service. My appointment was at 10am. When I arrived there were 4 other customers in line ahead of me. I asked to see the tires that I purchased from the Tire Rack (free delivery) before mounting. The technician made a couple of maintenance recommendations. I was on the road, sporting my new tires in no time. 4 stars because the restroom could use some attention.

This complaint is more about Mr. Tires online system as opposed to the staff and work at this location. After spending a good deal of time reviewing the different tires I could get for my Crosstrek and seeing which of these are available at Mr. Tire, I decided on a pair of Goodyear all weather tires. I went to the site for my local Mr. Tire location and clicked to make it my store. I was able to locate the tires I wanted and let them know I needed two of them. I was then asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment? I thought, "damn they are good" and scheduled installation for the next morning. All this was done online. Next morning I arrived with the car and went to check in, only to find out that they had to order the tires I had chosen and made an appointment for. Why would the system allow me to make an appointment if they knew the tires were not in stock? Highly disappointed with Mr. Tire. First time I went to them (based on good reviews) and I don't expect I will be back. I would recommend you call the location to ensure they have your tires in stock once the appointment is made or they could be wasting your time as they did to me.

Well first of all, I called about a coolant leak my vehicle was having. Told them the make and model and description of the problem. Asked could I bring it to be looked at. They said absolutely come on in. We’ll be here waiting for you. I made the almost hour trip and when I came and said who I was and why I was there, they told me that the guy who was able to check my coolant leak was not working that day, and asked if I’d like to bring it the next day. So I bit my lip and said okay what time tomorrow. They said eleven. I was there at 1045. Walked out of the waiting room around 1230 to see my vehicle just then being pulled in the garage. About 30 minutes later they come get me and tell me that I have a cracked coolant reservoir, I have a leaking valve cover gasket, and I need new spark plugs. And they would do it all for the low price of 1900 dollars. 1900 dollars. Yes that’s what I said. So I paid them the 140 diagnostic fee and went next door to advance auto parts and bout the reservoir for 60 dollars. Put it in mud in their parking lot in Les than 5 minutes. Literally. That covered 900 of the 1900. 900 to do what I did in 10 minutes for 60 dollars. The other 1000 was for the valve cover gasket which sells everywhere for under 20 dollars. And 50 for the new plugs and coil packs. OH AND BY THE WAY, MY VEHICLE STILL HAS THE LEAK. SO WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I HAD PAID THE 1900 DOLLARS AND THEN I STILL HAD THE LEAK. Not like this message will get anything done about it. But that’s my experience with Mr tire in Annapolis
