- MMMr. MotividSep 17, 20251.0This place sucks. Horrible service. Been here a handful of times and each time they fail expectations compared to Autozone, Oreillys and other Advanced Auto parts. First time I came in my car was in limp mode, and I knew exactly why. All they had to do was clear the codes so the computer can reset itself and can only be done with the scanner, removing the battery for 20 minutes doesn’t clear it. This dude says “No we can’t do that.” And had an attitude. I had to buy a scanner online for $15, wait for a day for it to come in and cleared it within 10 seconds. That’s all he had to do. Second time I came in I had to use the bathroom and they said no public restrooms. I have NEVER been to an auto parts store where they denied service to the bathroom. DO NOT COME HERE. Service is the worst, they are not helpful at all. Take your money elsewhere.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
