Rear driver's side tire was leaking air. The hubcap ring was putting pressure on the valve stem, causing the leak. The valve stem was replaced and the ring was reversed so that the problem shouldn't occur again. I was only charged $45 compared to a $70 quote from another shop. The hubcap rings on the three other tires were also reversed for me, even though they weren't causing problems, yet. There was no charge for this. I dealt with James at the front desk. He was very friendly and accommodating. This was my first experience at Fountain Tire but I was impressed. Would definitely go back again!

I had such an amazing experience with Fountain Tire Southdale. From booking my appointment to check-out everything went so smoothly. All staff that I dealt with were all amazing and friendly! They were all so knowledgeable and took their time explaining everything over to me, which I appreciated. Definitely will be going to them now for all my car needs and maintenance.

Great service Been going here for a couple years now for oil changes and tire changeover and they do a spot check to see if anything is broken or necessary need to be fixed.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
