- MEMohamed Elmusharaf3 days ago1.0When I returned home after replacing the windshield, I noticed that the hood was not in its normal position and there was a clear gap under it. I went back to the technician and showed him the problem, but instead of trying to fix what he had done, he started denying responsibility and claimed that the issue was not caused by him. I told him that the car is completely new, a 2026 model, and that no one had performed any maintenance on it before him, but that did not help. The technician insisted that the mistake was not his. So I went to a service workshop at GMC, where they repaired the hood and informed me that the damage occurred because someone closed the hood while there was an obstruction underneath it, which caused damage to the hood latch/support.
