  I recently rented from the Enterprise on Shrewsbury Street while my car was in for auto body repair; the staff at this location are really helpful and friendly, making the entire process very easy. They took care of everything with my insurance so all I had to to was pick up and return the car (and they were kind enough to drive me across the street to Franchi Brothers after I returned the rental so I didn't have to walk on the icy sidewalks). Great customer service and very personable staff!

  I needed an Enterprise from this location during the repair of my vehicle at a local shop. The check in process was relatively quick and easy. Once I got the vehicle and began driving, I went to put something in the driver's side door pocket and noticed a loogie on the door panel. I decided to wash the car, but went to get fuel first. While fueling, I went to open the rear door (door was covered in salt) and my hand went into another loogie on the door handle. The car was absolutely disgusting in the condition that they gave it to me. I didn't say anything about the salt or the dirty interior because it's winter. The car was also driving oddly, so I checked the tire pressure to ensure that the tire pressure levels were normal. The passenger front tire was at 52psi. Much higher that the max listed on the tire. I put it back to the recommended pressure and the car began pulling to the right. Throughout the rental, the tire pressure in that tire continually dropped setting off the TPMS light. After returning the vehicle (in much better condition than they gave it to me in), I complained in the survey that they sent me. Darren, the manager at the location sent me a voicemail stating that he was embarrassed by how I received the vehicle and asked for a call back. I tried calling on numerous occasions only to be placed on hold immediately for no less than 15 minutes each time. Since this was a regular occurrence, I emailed him back and have yet to receive a response. I typically give people an opportunity to respond before leaving a negative mark on their business and this review is no exception. I'd say the better part of a month is a reasonable amount of time to get a response. Your website says "clean and sanitized" and I expect that. At the very least, give me a car that's safe. You guys weren't able to provide either of those. Please correct these things. I work with cars daily. This is something simple. Please correct it.

  I always have an easy experience when using Enterprise. My recent experience with the Worcester/Shrewsbury MA Enterprise was no different and was excellent as usual. Staff were extremely accommodating and worked to help me get on my way as quickly as possible. I’ve rented with Enterprise all over the county and have never been disappointed!

  Extremely disappointing experience at Enterprise in Worcester on Shrewsbury Street. I reserved an SUV weeks in advance and showed up as scheduled, only to be told they didn’t have one available. There was no advance call, no warning, and no attempt to proactively resolve the issue. After that, I called to complain three separate times. Each time I was told a manager would call me back. No one ever did. No follow-up, no accountability, no customer service. I’ve used Enterprise for years, but this location completely failed — both operationally and professionally. If you can’t honor reservations or even return calls, don’t take the booking in the first place. I won’t be using this location again. Update – Jan 31 (in response to Stacy): Hi Stacy — the URL you provided requires me to place another phone call. I’ve already done that multiple times, and Enterprise never called me back. If you truly want to resolve this, please speak directly with Darren, the manager at the Worcester branch on Shrewsbury Street. He already has my information. I sent him two emails, neither of which he bothered to respond to. I also spoke with him in person on Friday at 8:00am when I showed up at the branch. He was unhelpful and made no effort to fix the situation. At this point, the issue isn’t process — it’s lack of accountability and good customer service.

  So hard to get in touch with anyone. Constantly put on hold non-stop (x3 times for over 30mins). One time, I had to drive there in person to get help. Once there, I was the only customer and 4-5 employees were there. Phone rang and all of them refused to answer as they laughed it off. Not so funny for me as I wasted to much time waiting for someone to pick up my call… The one employee helping me with my rental was professional but this branch seems to be unresponsive. Heard from others this branch has a bad reputation in the community. Would advise elsewhere if possible.
