I guess I’ll just to to their Stoneham location where they honor the customer wishes. - YCYing ChenNov 6, 20251.0I had a very disappointing experience at this Valvoline location. When I arrived, the staff member who checked me in was impatient and quite rude. I should have taken that as a warning. I came in for a simple oil change, but after repeated upsell pressure, I agreed to add a tire rotation — which turned out to be a serious mistake. After the rotation, my car started making a low thumping noise while driving. I immediately returned because it felt unsafe. Their “inspection” involved asking me to accelerate while the car was lifted, which caused multiple warning alerts to activate (I drive a brand new Subaru, and this step triggered Eyesight, RAB, brake, and engine lights). They were unable to fix the issue, and instead of taking responsibility, one staff member compared it to “everyday life” by saying “babies get sick, your car can get problems too.” That response was dismissive and completely unprofessional. I had to leave because they were closing, and spent the next day at the dealership to resolve the issue. I later realized the tire rotation had not actually been done. I recognized the same wheel with a distinctive scratch mark in the exact same position, confirming the tires were never switched. So I paid $49.99 for a service that was not performed, and the visit still resulted in issues that required me to spend the next day getting everything checked at the dealership to make sure the car was safe to drive. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge. I will not return to this location, and I do not recommend it to others.

The handsome gentleman with the beard was extremely helpful at getting me set up and the technicians (also handsome) were not only good at performing all the tasks, but they were also very personable, professional, and polite. That was a top notch experience.
