The staff here are hardworking, friendly, and professional. They take pride in their work and it shows. Although there are closer locations to my residence, the level of customer service in Walpole is superb. I am a happy customer and hope this work ethic continues.

I recently visited this particular valvoline on Thursday November 13. I requested only to have my oil change done on my Ford F150. They immediately go through the inspection process to check for what the manager, Roger, claims are "red flag" items. In my particular case my truck is a fleet vehicle and our company has the Wheels program which approves the services done at given mileage intervals. The manager claims that they are obligated by contract to replace any red flag items they deem necessary for replacement, such as in my case, the air filter and wipers. I had asked for those items to not be replaced as I know there wasn't anything wrong with either of these simply because I replace them myself as needed. As the driver of my fleet vehicle it is at my discretion what is or isn't replaced. The manager, Roger, insisted that because I wasn't paying for it directly and it was a corporate account, that it shouldn't matter to me. I commented that buying 2 wipers for $60 and an air filter for $35 was ridiculous especially when I can get those items at any Walmart for about $30. I know they are in the business of selling and I'm sure they earn commissions on everything they sell but when a customer declines a service, that should be the end of it. I went in for only an oil change and that was all I wanted. I shouldn't have to be told that Valvoline has a contract with Wheels or that my company is paying for it so just nevermind and do it. I made one mistake, I should have just said I will go somewhere else to get my oil change but I didn't. I went ahead and agreed to the extra purchases but that will be the last time I ever use Valvoline. We also have 7 other trucks in our fleet and they will not be utilizing their services. Some of our drivers aren't as conscientious as I am with maintenance of their trucks and do accept the air filter, wiper, and battery replacement service, I hope the extra $95 they made was worth the loss of future business with our company.

Everybody was friendly and professional. However one of ithe inspections pointed out that my rear wiper blade needed replacing. I told them to go ahead with the change. However it was never done and didn't realize it till I got home (wasn't charged for it)

They messed up my trucks differential. They sold me on replacing the differential fluid about a week ago and now my worker is driving the morning and having major issues feels like the back wheels are going to fall off and making noise. Never should've let them do anything other than an oil change my mistake. Called to see if they would cover the bill I'm going to get for the repair and they said it takes 2 business days to file a claim. I run a business and cannot wait around for them to not be able to fix the issue. Thanks a lot guys!

I'm rather disappointed. This location tries to sell you extra stuff even if you don't need it. First she wanted to replace my wiper blade except I just them replaced. They are practically new. Next the air filter which was replaced 5000 miles ago. It was in good shape. Then tried to tell me my battery was going bad except I had it checked about 3 weeks ago. When finished, they told me I needed to get another oil change after 3000 miles, but I asked for the blend oil which should be 5000 miles. Makes me wonder if I got what I paid for or did they use conventional and just charge me for blend. In the end I do NOT recommend this location. Too many lies. They can't be trusted.
