My husband and I drove over an hour and 20 minutes to check out a 2019 Chevy Tahoe, listed at $28,640 on CarGurus AND their own website.
What they fail to mention until you get there, look at the vehicle, test drive the vehicle, let them value your trade, and wait for numbers is that they add $3,000 to the online pricing. (BEFORE ADDING TAXES, REGISTRATION, ETC.) Keep in mind, my trade after paying off was worth $3,200 plus the $4,000 we were planning on putting down in cash.
Not to mention, the vehicle's black paint was chipped all over (tried hiding with a paint pen) and scratched up and down each side, had an oil pan leak, AC lines leaking, and engine oil cooler line leaking. The "best they could do" was give us the vehicle at the online listed price, meaning they'd only remove the sneaky $3,000 they add to the online pricing just to get you there.
The salesman then tried to get us to initial that we'd buy the vehicle if we could get the price down to $26,000 considering it'd be a few thousand just to fix the paint, felt sketchy.
READ THE FINE PRINT - would not recommend this dealership.
