- CHChris Hall6 days ago1.0Pulled in to get my oil changed, showed the tech a 20% off coupon from Valvoline and asked if they said yes that coupon works at their place. Paid extra to change the filter and replace a tail light since they were giving me 20% off. Once I went to pay I was informed the coupon was for corporate Valvoline locations not franchise locations and they refused. I asked for a manager who also refused to accept the coupon despite previously being told they would. I was given a choice between paying the full amount or they would call the police and report me for refusing to pay. So long story short don’t expect Valvoline to accept the coupons they send you even if they claim they will.
