Went in for a complete 4 wheel alignment for a German vehicle. Was told it should around an hour so I chose to wait. 3 hours later was told I was all set. Staff said they only did the front wheels and couldn’t do the rears due to a broken passenger control arm bushing. This is useless since fronts would have to be done again ones rears are touched anyways. No offer to fix said part, only able to identify which control arm from a picture (passenger upper rear)and very dodgy when questions were asked. Brought vehicle to another mechanic and we found no damage to control arm. eccentric bolt on control arm and toe link still had rust and dust showing no attempt was made with any tools. Was able to get a refund, but if they are unable to work on specific vehicles or if it will take a while just be honest with people. Worst part about this is lying about a broken (expensive) component to get out of doing work, causing unnecessary stress and confusion. Picture below shows camber bolt, nut and washer untouched showing they didn’t even try to adjust anything. Also can see part of the bushing that was supposedly broke.

Tony is a lifesaver. I came in this morning and, even with his systems down, still took the time to help me with a tire leak. Other places wouldn’t assist until 2pm, but Tony stepped up without hesitation. We need more people like him out there. Thank you, Tony—keep up the great work!

This is the second time these guys have tried to swindle someone in my household for a new tire instead of plug/patch. My wife has a brad nail in her tire. Nowhere near the edge of the shoulder. Clean exit. They told her it couldnt be patched or plugged and proceeded to sell her a new tire. I have family who have been doing tires for 20+ years who agreed with me that this is a completely plug/patchable nail. She was supposed to have it installed today at 2, but luckily it didnt come in today. So i had a chance to look at it and couldnt believe they sold her a tire. They just want to bump their numbers because its the end of the year and thought we didnt know better. Never going back and ill never recommend them

I brought my car to Melvin’s Tire for a routine oil change and to look into a check engine light. What should have been simple turned into a mess they created themselves. My car was stuck there for four days entirely because of problems caused during their service, with zero proactive communication. I had to call every day just to find out what was going on, and each day it was something new they had messed up that delayed it even more. Even after all of that, they still tried to charge me the full price for the original service with no discount or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Any adjustment only came after I pushed back, and it was minimal. I also asked multiple times for everything to be emailed to me and never received it. Overall, this was extremely frustrating and handled very poorly. I highly would not recommend this place.

The tires/install itself was great, however they tried charging me 350 for a new battery because my terminals were very corroded. As you can see that is not the case. Also they just seemed to guess at what pressure they should pump the tires to, as 3 out of the 4 tires were all different pressures ranging from 42 to 54 even though they are supposed to be at 36 PSI. Can’t say i’d go back. Would never take their recommendation of changing a battery without looking at it. They also wanted to charge 70 to replace my windshield wipers.
