- KSKerri SmithJan 4, 20261.0If this location or branch manager, Bobby, tells you that you must pay upfront for a warranty battery because it’s out of stock, that is 100% false. He stated this was AutoZone’s policy, but after contacting the Corporate and regional office, they confirmed it is NOT their policy, and they never heard of such. It’s a simple transfer of old batteries for new if under warranty, regardless if they are in stock or have to be ordered. Corporate was helpful and remedied the issue same day. Hopefully they can better educate their management.
- JJJoeOct 24, 20251.0Stopped in just to get my car battery changed. You know, that tiny little service an auto parts store offers? Silly me for thinking they’d actually help. Instead, I got told they “couldn’t do it” because they were short-staffed. Apparently, swapping a battery is now a two-man Broadway production. Maybe next time I’ll bring my own pit crew just to make it easier on them. Also asked the gentleman behind the counter to test my battery and the attitude I got you think I asked him for a kidney Went to the establishment up the street O’Reillys was in and out in 15 minutes

He is always willing to stop and answer questions when I go in and the last time I was there it was pouring out. He helped me find the right wipers (a VW) and then put them on for me in the pouring rain!! Customer service at its finest!! I'd recommend this store to anyone! Ask for Robert!!

I asked the clerk at the desk if he could help me, after a minute or two he asked the manager if he could help me he stopped what he was doing and put the blade on for me. No questions asked. A smile on his face. Happy to help. Two thumbs up for auto zone in rockland.
