- NVNullius in VerbaOct 29, 20212.0I replaced two front tires there, and after driving for few miles, the TPMS light popped up. I went back to fix the issue and the manager (?) said the newly replaced tires had 43 psi, instead of factory-recommended 33 psi ( which is on the driver side door). He deflated the tires to 35 psi and advised me to drive few miles so that TPMS light will reset. I followed his suggestions, but the light didn’t go away. The next day I went back to fix it. Lo and behold, the manager said I needed new sensors. The TPMS light was NOT on before they replaced front two tires, but it is on after ! I suspect that they damaged the sensors while replacing tires. I never had this experience before when I used to go to Town Fair Tire. It could be a coincidence that the batteries on the sensors went bad. But it’s highly probable that they messed up the sensors because the people didn’t seem professional and accountable.
