The staff is very unfriendly, just needed a oil change, they want too much information, when I refused they started to claim it's for my own good. The best is they try to upsell manufacturer recommended services, yet they will tell you your due in 3000 miles well below the recommend oil change interval by the manufacturer.

Upon entering your store I had placed my trust that your people would perform honestly and skillfully. I had my oil filter and oil changed at you samoset st. Plymouth, Ma. Location. The service at the store seemed as if it was done honestly and respectfully. I received a credit for a coupon. And paid for the service and left. Dec 1st I was driving on the highway and a loud noise suddenly appeared and I pulled over. I was maybe 30 miles from home. The splash guard that your crew would have removed to perform the oil change had lost all 8 front screws that attach the front of this guard to the front frame and the guard was dragging on the highway. For the next hour I would be forced to drive back roads stopping every 3 miles to restick the guard back in place then finally bracing a branch that I found on the side of the road against the frame, the guard stayed in place the rest of the trip to my mechanic. My mechanic said it appears the guy at Valvoline that worked the pit didnt put all your screws back in place. This guy has a name and it was Tyler according to the invoice. My mechanic said your car is only 2 years old and why would 8 screws be suddenly missing. Screws just don't back themselves out. Now I have a two year old car with a splash guard that's all scratched up with road Rash and places misssing because it was rubbing on the ground. The next day Tuesday I was in Boston traffic and my engine light comes on and a warning is displayed "High Oil Level". I slowed down and finally get back to my mechanic. He looks at it and says your oil level is way over filled. Then he looks further and asked me if Valvoline changed the oil and filter as the filter looks like an old filter. At this point I have lost all faith that your incompetent staff could even change a light bulb. I had my mechanic re-change the oil and the filter so I can be sure that it was done correctly. I have people that work for me. I wouldn't allow this poor workmanship to ever exist. Your store is not run by the manager named Corey it is run by these kids with low moral work ethics. It's time you company investigates this store and cleans house starting with this Corey fellow. If he can't manage his people he has no place managing the store. The CRS was Zacaria. ToP side was Jonathan and the pit was Tyler. I feel that Valvoline owes me a new splash guard for my 2023 VW taos and reimbursement for my mechanics fees and the redone oil change. I have the bill for this service. You can figure out the cost of the new guard and have it shipped to me. I will also need to have my mechanic paid to install the.new guard as I had said I wouldn't trust your staff to change a bulb

Pretty fast and easy in a jamb when behind on (really) needing a change. Friendly staff that seem to work efficiently and organized, though did get quite a lot of offers on extras. Usually change my own, but I'd go here again if I found myself in the same spot, or feeling like just don't have to time or desire. Took away 1 star because thought it was a little overpriced for full synthetic, then given a schedule tag for 3,000 miles. The other brand of full synthetic I use myself (and most others) is good for 10-15,000 miles..at the least 5,000, so hopefully for that big price for 15 mins, I didn't receive some kind of lower grade full synthetic.

I recently visited this valvoline location for an oil change and air filter change, and was thoroughly impressed by the speed and quality of their work. From the moment I pulled in, the staff was courteous, professional, and highly efficient, getting my vehicle into a bay almost instantly. They clearly explained the different oil options without any high-pressure sales tactics and completed the entire change, including checking and topping off other fluids, in a remarkably short amount of time. It's rare to find a quick service place that doesn't compromise on attention to detail, but this team managed to do both. What truly sets this place apart is the transparency and excellent customer service. Before they even started, they confirmed the final price and provided a clear timeline. The technician was happy to answer my questions and even pointed out a minor issue I should keep an eye on, without trying to push an immediate, unnecessary repair. The waiting area was clean, and the entire process was seamless and stress-free. I left feeling confident in the service performed and genuinely valued as a customer. This is definitely my new go-to place, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and fast service!
