They demanded they take the old windshield, and demanded the I pay the hidden 30$(UP CHARGE) fee for recycling it, even though I wanted to keep the windshield. I can't agree how its ok to demand that you let them take your property you own, from a vehicle you own, from a driveway you own, just to complete a service you requested. I even agreed to pay them the fee and they could take the window with them as it had wasted long enough of my time trying to explain how it just didn't sound right to me. To demand they have to take the windshield in order to complete the job really seems like an UP CHARGE SCHEME TO ME. Here nor there they left and would not complete the install. The Pittsfield Massachusetts location manager was arrogant, and verry rude. He could not make it make any sense as to why they needed to take the window to complete the install. The business should have just installed the window and moved on. I offered to pay them upfront to just replace the window, yet they said " nope were out here" good customer service. Seems as though they cared more about the UP CHARGE policy more than the customer , and completing the job. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE, I WOULD ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO CONSIDER ONE OF THE MANY OTHER COMPANIES AVAILABLE TO PERFORM THIS TYPE OF WORK.
