My car battery needs an immediate replacement and so I placed an online order for a store pickup and installation at the store. Before heading to the store, I did also call the store and confirmed with them whether they'd be able to install the battery, and they said "Yes". so I went to the store to pickup my battery and requested them to install the battery. The guy seemed to be like a slacker and was not at all willing to install my battery and had behaved extremely rude and aggressive in such a away that he'd even kill me. so I returned my battery immediately. This is completely unfair and unacceptable. I would like to escalate this matter to the store manager and have them take action on this.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
