U can't beat Sullivan Tire for their honesty and customer service

They've managed to lose a customer again. Completely tone deaf company. The one star is really negative 1. I went in there to get a rear tire plugged (which developed a leak after I had just been in there for a battery). When I left with my newly patched tire, by the time I had made it 2 miles down 139 in Marshfield, my front tire was completely flat and the sidewall ruined. A piece of a TPMS sensor was the culprit. This is something that is inside the wheel/tire. When I made it back to Sullivan tire, they charged me to replace the tire. Obviously this piece of road hazard came from their garage/parking lot. The manager did nothing about it. I asked to speak to his boss, and just finished that equally tone deaf conversation. A tire place is where TPMS sensors would be exposed. They can't fall off a car driving down the street since they're inside the wheel. The notion that I hit a piece of TPMS that was on 139 ~AFTER~ I left Sullivan Tire is ludicrus. I won't ever be back to this company and will have my service done anywhere else.
Edit - BTW, when I was at the Shell gas station getting this TPMS fragment removed from the tire and explaining to them what happened, a customer there told me that the exact same thing had happened to him and he doesn't go there anymore either.
Edit - due to the owner response. The scientific analysis is laughable. It got lodged in the tread in the shop, then as I drove 30mph it punctured the tire. But far more egregious is the dishonesty which further enforces why no one should trust Sullivan Tire. The notion that you stock new parts that you don't use is ridiculous. I did not know what a TPMS sensor looked like until one of the employees went into the shop, opened a cabinet and removed a brand new one from the packaging, which was identical to the piece I showed in the picture. That's how I knew it came from Sullivan Tire. Not sure if the person replying to Google Reviews is the same clown I spoke to on the phone who likes to get it shouting matches with (ex) customers, but this information should be enough for anyone to decide whether or not they want to do business with a company like this.

My husband and I regularly bring our vehicles in for servicing to the Marshfield, MA, location, and are always treated well. I usually don't wait on site when my car is being repaired but I got to use the Lounge area for the first time today. The area was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee :) We will continue to use this location and recommend it to others.

The Marshfield store was good to me 25 years ago and still is. The guys at the front desk are excellent.

Needed air in tires, no problem. Men took care of it with a smile
