New teen drivers must take a 30 hour classroom program, 12 hours of private driving lessons, and 6 hours of observation. Adult new drivers over the age of 18 do not have a driver's ed requirement in MA.
What is your driving lesson cancellation policy in Massachusetts?
If a student needs to cancel a road lesson, we ask that they call our central office (413.642.1475) at least 24 hours in advance so we can give our instructor a heads up! Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a fee of $100. Students should cancel Driving Lessons via phone or student portal, as an email or voicemail may not be received as quickly.
If you do not show up for your lesson and no not call us in advance you will be charged our $160 no show fee. Students must bring the following to every behind the wheel lesson. Students that arrive without the following will not be able to drive and will be subject to our $160 no show fee.

- Closed toe/heel shoes. (No crocs, flip flops, etc). We suggest sneakers.
