After searching for other local garages, we were recommended Nick by another local mechanic. We really, really lucked out! Nick is honest, friendly, and beyond competent: I called and explained what was wrong with the car, and over the phone he gave us a rough estimate that was two-thirds cheaper than what the dealer wanted to charge. I brought it in on a Friday morning, and despite there being other cars left to attend to, Nick and his crew turned ours around by the end of the day — while honoring the initial estimate he gave. He explained what he did; showed me his work under the hood; and offered to print off the diagnostic codes his mechanics detected that correlated to a check engine light that was also active, and that I forgot to mention — just in case it ever tripped again. Right now, our car runs smooth. But if anything else ever happens, I know who I'll be bringing it to!
