The slips are new, the gas dock is really convenient and a real plus, allows more time on the water. Having a mechanic on site is also great. Other marinas offer similar services, but Sunset Bay does it better.
- LMLee MichaelsOct 17, 20124.0I don't know why anyone would write such negative drivel about the management & employees of Sunset Bay Marina. I have seen them provide service to the marine community that has ranged from helpful to heroic and ALWAYS in good spirit. I am not one of their biggest customers, but they have always taken good care of me, as well as, my boat... Such an improvement over the way this facility used to be! It's not a perfect location, though. Its exposure to the brisk autumn westerly winds make for bumpy dockage, late in the season. Make sure to use heavy duty cordage & fenders in September & October. But, to be sure, the crew at Sunset Bay keeps an eye out, during heavy weather with extra lines and docking fenders. I have, and will continue to recommend this facility to my friends.
