I have been to many Advance Auto locations and they all had excellent kind customer service, but when I went to this location I was met with a worker who actually ARGUED with me!!! I asked why they needed to take a part from me for testing because I wanted to know the process and he answered “because” which upset me and when I responded with this is ridiculous he said “no it’s not” and when I reacted to that with yes it is he responded again with “no it’s not”. I took the part and went to another location where the staff was extremely kind and apologetic and gave me no issues whatsoever and solved the problem instantly. Long story short, go to any location except for here. They clearly have a terrible staff and I hope the manager takes action to fix this.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
